Books and Music that will transform you

I always thought it would be nice to have a little bookstore truly dedicated to items that represent gateways into transformation. I think there is a lot on the market nowadays that pretends to be of substance, which, in my opinion really is not.

Therefore, want to take you to my own store that is representation of greater substance.

I hope you will enjoy it....

Meaningful to Behold

Man exists between the polarities of the meaningful and that which is not meaningful.
Our quest and our striving is for what we believe to be significant. To know that we are spending our life dedicated to what is meaningful to behold — is intrinsically satisfying. It gives peace. The recognition that we are failing or have failed in this endeavor — is disturbing to the soul. Perhaps a mid-life crisis arises from a man’s assessment of his life and finding it lacks existential substance.

Life is of such vastness that we can find meaning in innumerable ways and life choices. The artists way of creating genuine beauty — is significant. The scientist who discovers ways of healing and saving lives — will fall asleep peacefully at the end of the day. The journalist dedicated to the dissolution of deceit ( we would like to see more of those) will feel s/he is doing the right thing.

Beauty, healing and truth are dimensions that contain innumerable compartments that offer us ways to live a life that is meaningful to behold.

All we have to do is wake up one morning and choose to act on the deepest whispers of our soul. If we can learn to listen to those whispers, I believe they will guide us to living a life of beauty, healing and truth so that we can fall asleep at night feeling we have spent the day well. At the end of the day that is what we all need to know.

Command the Power

To have genuine insights into the mechanisms underlying our societal and global realities, to understand who the real operators are that control what happens on a planetary scale - this can lead to a very cynical world view. It might lead to a belief that I, as an individual, have no power.
This is not true.

Close your eyes. Imagine before you a legion of 100,000 of the most powerful divine beings. Call them to your assistance. Tell them to be with you every day. Ask them to inspire and protect you. And then, command them to make you an awesome, unstoppable power to bring upliftment to humanity and yourself.

Do this every day and watch the results come in swiftly and beyond your wildest dreams.

Raylene's Book at Amazon.com

Between the Visions
Review from Mt. Shasta Magazine
Vol. 5 Issue 1
By Michou Landon

Mount Shasta's own Raylene Abbott has birthed a
sweet and intimate memoir of one woman's ever-
deepening journey of healing, integration, Union
with the Beloved - human and Divine. Gently and
simply written, playful and passionate, it is at times
a poignant, powerful read.

Explanatory passages, which may seem very basic
to some, ensure that the "less spiritually traveled"
readers are included and even educated. Even so,
some of the content may command a considerable
spiritual maturity or at least openness.

Biographical narrative ties together the author's
visions, which have served to illuminate her regular,
3-D, human experiences. Often these visions contain
symbolism of buried cultures, reviving the timeless
truth and tangible relevance of images made cryptic
by time and tyranny.

Union is the cohesive theme, whether as Union of
Heaven and Human, Etheric and Earthly, Feminine
and Masculine, or the universality among all
spiritual traditions and practitioners. The gift of
Abbott's personal accounts is to illustrate this unity
more experientially than theoretically.

This is, however, as the author concedes at the
outset, an account of experiences whose true essence
and impact are beyond the realm of words. This is
why the level of each reader's spiritual openness,
humility and maturity can greatly influence how s/he
receives the content and message; that is, how much
s/he finds resonance and inspiration in the
experiences and how much s/he feels an awkward spectator.

Tantric exploration features importantly in the
book; the candid sexual passages could challenge
some, which might not be a bad thing. True Tantra
holds promise for the salvation of many.

This little book holds potential value for everyone,
whether to answer questions, plant seeds, or truly
inspire fellow travelers on the numinous journey home.

Contemporary Spirituality

By Andreas Mamet
© 2007

There exists a profound need for the arising and expansion of a Contemporary Spirituality that includes addressing our human reality in ways that includes our psychological, emotional, sexual and soul realities in a way that is illumined and does not insult our intelligence.

If you step into a building that has not been taken care of for 800, 1,200 or more years, you would see immediately that the roof is leaking and you can see through the walls. You instantly discover this is no abode for you to put your foot in.

If, however, we shift from our western religions in which we were brought up in to exotic-looking Asian religions, we do not immediately see the insufficiencies and do not immediately recognize that the same disease that negates the material, separates the body from spirit, is alive there. We are too blinded by the exotic presentation that looks so different and promises us the liberation we did not find in our western religions.

Yet those insufficiencies exist in Asian religions just as well as they do in Western religions.

For that reason … look deeply into what is offered. Especially, take note if the East supports the division and negation of body and spirit. If it does, it is just more of the same old dysfunctional, neurotic, pseudo-religious attitudes we grew up with and that brought so much havoc to our planet. There is just no graceful way to express this.

I do not mean to negate those Asian traditions that train in meditation techniques and prayer. I have personally benefited in that context greatly. But I am expressing dismay at a psychological climate wherein such a training can take place if is supports the simultaneous presentation as the bodily existence as “defiled” and therefore causes a split.

It does correlate to the New Age attitude of wanting to ascend because we are miserable down here and want to get the heck out of here.

We need a spirituality that is focused on descending, of coming into our bodies, of coming into the planet, of spiritualizing every single aspect of our lives, including business and the exchange between nations. Spirituality needs to be a platform for the expression of the greatest modality of intelligence possible. Intelligence needs to dance with compassion and kindness. If we invoke intelligence, common sense, along with compassion and kindness, then we will be able to create a new approach that transcends the limitations of old, outdated religious structures and build a spirituality that truly feeds us on every level of our human existence.

So, if your religious and spiritual choices leave you unfed, take a deep look and dare to articulate what is insufficient. To take care of your remaining hunger, you may have to slaughter a holy cow. Perhaps it just was not holy after all.

Some more appreciation

I notice there are about 100 visitors per week to the blog. I am actually surprised. I did not think the blog would call in that many people at all.

So, continue to enjoy....

On the Chakras

By Andreas Mamet

As I mentioned before, the Chakras are essentially gates into various aspects of Universal Presence, or Divine Presence, if you wish. I think using the term “Universal Presence” is good, as it bypasses religious dogmas and differences.

There are many Chakras in the body. If we research different systems, we will come up with contradictory conclusions concerning their location. My answer is: Take all the different maps that exist about the Chakras. Put them on top of each other and you will probably get the correct bigger picture.

To start, the Chakras can be subdivided into major and minor Chakras.

The 7 major Chakras are (names in Sanskrit):

1st Chakra
It is called Muladhara Chakra. It is located at the base of the spine. This chakra does not regulate our sexuality, as one may think. Sex is not mankind’s first concern; survival is. So, this is the Survival Chakra. This is the level of the cave man, or more contemporary, the level of, for example, street gangs. Imagine a killing over a handful of dollars or a small bag of drugs. If this happens, the 1st Chakra is in control.

2nd Chakra
It is called Swadisthana Chakra. It is where the sexual organ is located, slightly above the 1st Chakra. If we have a focus on sexuality to the point of addiction that does not know how to stop and consider the consequences and havoc that excessive sexual conduct can create, then we have the 2nd Chakra in control.

3rd Chakra
It is called Manipura Chakra. It is located at the navel (Note: some systems show the 3rd Chakra at the solar plexus. To me this is simply another Chakra, not the 3rd.)

This Chakra regulates power. This is where mankind dukes it out over position. You can see this in a corporate structure where people are in competition to outmaneuver each other to get the highest position. The intention here is not just to get more money and status, but ultimately the goal here is to experience the specific satisfaction that is gained from gaining CONTROL OVER THE LIVES OF OTHERS. Ultimately this plays out all the way to the stage of international politics, where one political leader wants to gain control over as many other leaders and “their” countries as possible.

The common denominator of all the first 3 Chakras here is greed and fear of not having enough. Mankind in general functions predominantly along the lines of these first 3 Chakras.

The 4th Chakra
It is called Anahata Chakra. The Divine Experience begins here. This is the abode of Pure Love and the beginning of un-selfish modalities. Here starts the capacity of loving without self-centered agendas. Here you become capable of genuine concern for the well being of others, all the way to the utterly impersonal. Here you become aware of somebody’s suffering and you send an anonymous letter with cash to help with rent or food, not wanting anything in return.

When you concentrate on this Chakra, a tremendous experience of Essence of Universal Sweetness can be released. This experience is satisfying and fulfilling beyond words. If this happens to you, you wish that all people on the planet could have this happening also.

The 5th Chakra
It is called Vishuddhi Chakra. Located in the throat. It is my understanding that this Chakra obviously regulates our world of speech and expression. What is interesting here is that this Chakra is pretty much in the service of whatever degree of consciousness we represent. If we operate on predominantly through the first 3 Chakras, what will come through our voice will be in the service of those domains. We will use the voice… - to obtain.

If we have a strong degree of 4th Chakra activation, the voice will start functioning in ways designed to uplift, support and heal others.

Another interesting aspect: There are people who have passed through certain periods of spiritual training, for example Mantra Chanting or other disciplines, which have brought this Chakra into a higher degree of activation. Therefore, these people have acquired what I call the capacity for “Mantric Speech.” This means that they can say something --- and it BECOMES SO. This is an existentially neutral phenomenon (like electricity). However, this is potentially both wonderful and dangerous.

When such a person voices a beautiful wish for you – it sticks and it becomes true. The Power of Blessing.

But if such a person voices a very bad intention because perhaps you crossed him very badly, he may utter an ill wish over you and this ill-intended wish will seek you out and will be unstoppable. (A good example of this modality took place when King Philip and the Pope conspired to bring down the Knights Templar to get their money. On the day King Philip hanged the leader of the Templars, the latter uttered a wish of death over the King, his son and the Pope. All three died within 12 months.)

This is an example of an active and rather efficient throat Chakra. A blessing or a curse will come true here.

Everybody should be extremely aware of what they are speaking because everybody creates with speech. Even an ordinary person can bring heaven or hell to another human being. Most people, however, do not have the self-witnessing capacity to hear themselves speak or see themselves act. One has to be very conscious in order to self-observe. This is what Christ meant when he said “People do not know what they do.” They don’t.

For an adept with a very active voice manifestation power it is imperative and of pivotal importance to watch what s/he says.

The 6th Chakra -The 3rd Eye
Ajna Chakra (This Pronounces “Agya”). Located between the eyebrows. Here things are starting to become very cosmic. If you concentrate on this chakra, the space can now expand and expand until the Universe is contained in that expansion. It is an enormous experience which will annihilate everything you were taught about “how the world functions.” In actuality, very few things really function the way we were taught.

Even if you have this experience only once for a few seconds, it will leave you altered forever. It will be impossible to return to the old unconscious modalities of living.

Other aspects also will start kicking in with the continued activation of this Chakra: The Universal Mind will reveal knowledge, information and wisdom of laser-like precision through you. The way this works is kind of interesting.

Imagine… there you are… without any particularly extraordinary modality. But suddenly a person comes before you and presents a question on the level of deep soul sincerity (it’s rare, but it happens).

Instantly, being triggered like this, out of Nowhere (Now Here) information, insights come out of your mouth that are utterly amazing and hugely relevant for the person (who triggers you). This is the Universal replacing and overriding our small mind.

The 7th Chakra.
Sahasrara Chakra. Located slightly above the head.
This is the realm where you have Communion with all the Buddhas and all the Christs and the heavy hitters among the Archangels (pardon the expression, I kind of like it…) If you have a root master this is the place where you can always find him.

Past this, however, there exists the entry into the VOID. This is the GREAT SILENCE. Here you will not find any attributes, no bliss, no ecstasy, nothing. This is the great ABSENCE of everything. When the Buddha talks about the experience of No-Self (Anatta), he means this.

There is absolutely no reference here to anything called Self. It is gone.

Gone. Gone. Forever gone beyond.

Gate Gate Paragate Parasamgate Bodhi Svaha

This is a wonderful moment to conclude this transmission on the subject of the Chakras even though more could be said also on the minor Chakras that govern the hands (healing power) ears (clairaudience) and so on. I will say more later also on the Hara, which exists outside of the Yogic Systems.

“What separates a fully Awakened One – a Buddha – from the rest of mankind is his experience of oneness with mankind” A.M.

Conversations with God

By Andreas Mamet
© 2007

The following is a conversation with God that I had.
It went as follows: (I was in deep prayer at the time)

Andreas: “Yo, God!”

God: “Hey dude. Wassup?”

Andreas: “I understand you have chosen me to bring your message to the people. I am honored!”

God: “That’s cool, my man!”

Andreas: “There is only one problem.”

God: “What’s that, dude?”

Andreas: “You know, there have been a whole bunch of people who said they were speaking in your name over thousands of years, and in actuality only a very few people had your phone number. Many others made up stuff to gain power and control over people, simply because they enjoyed having control over others. It made them feel good.

Or they had a certain level of access and mixed a part of your words with their own subconscious stuff and narrow-minded belief systems. Then there were also those who were psychically sensitive. They got caught by beings in the astral domains that like to pose as St. Germain or Archangels or others… astral actors, so to speak.

In any case, I just want to tell you that I don’t want the job. If there is anything you want me to pass on, just send me an email. I will then present your words as merely my own opinions and reflections. That way I will stay clear of the ancient-old manipulation of the priests. They implied that, ‘I am close to God. God is infallible. Hence what I am telling you is infallible and you must do as I say.’
I don’t want to go that route. So tell me if my proposition is acceptable to you and if it is, we have a deal.”

God: “Dude, I see what you are saying. I think you have a point. Alright. We can do it this way. If some of my email gets past your spam protection, then it is okay with me if you alter my stuff and present it as your personal opinion and reflection. I like that. It leaves people entirely free, without the subtle manipulations. Let us do it this way.”

And this, my friends, is the story of how a potential prophet returned to the realm of ordinary human beings.

Channeling

Channeling is as old as mankind and exists because we have questions concerning our lives and life in general.

In olden days, that word was not used when you visited the oracle of Delphi or the prophet in the woods. But there always existed people who were very good at answering questions in a way that was meaningful and accurate.

The term "Channeling" surfaced in the 18th century in the occult medium circles of England with people such as Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, Annie Besant, Leadbeater and General Olcott. (This later lead to the founding of the Theosophical Society. One of the prime goals for the TS then became the facilitating of a vehicle for the Maitreya Buddha. Krishnamurti was chosen for the job, but later he rebelled and severed his ties with the TS because of his growing insights into the dysfuntional, neurotic patterns of the TS and the people who groomed him to be a worldteacher. In a strange and contradicting fashion, Krishnamurti actually did benefit from the training he received. Nevertheless, he refused to be the vehicle and rather became his own enlightened boss ....buddha....)

It was during that time that the obsession with "bringing through the messages of the masters" developed. As the ego hijacked and corrupted the phenomenon, a hierarchy was created, with people who were (or appeared to be) most proficient at "bringing through divine messages" at the top of that hierarchy.

This capacity of bringing through "divine information" slowly became subject to unconscious, neurotic worship. A new type of priest was born. And, as with all priests, there existed a great range of purity and integrity, or absence thereof.

Even a good medium could have a bad day. Then on such a day, rather than saying "I am not getting anything" --- succumbing to the pressure of the surrounding expectations and speak from a personal bank of information and also mimick the outer expression (change of voice and body movements) of channeling another entity, since by now those gestures were well known and could easily duplicated.

This craze continued to develop and has now become a big part of contemporary New Age Spirituality. Whereas in olden traditions there existed the longing to come face-to-face with The Divine Beloved (Sufi Terms) or to find the Nature of Reality (Buddhist terms), we now find groups immersed in the hypnotizing thrill of "being in the presence of divine information" not realizing that their otherwise boring and uneventful lives continue without the slightest trace of transformation (this would require a huge amount of personal effort and discipline.)

Divine Information is not Divine Transformation, necessarily. Divine Information must have the keys, which, if applied can bring Divine Transformation/Awakening. If these keys are missing, we are merely entertained. In that case, bring along the popcorn.

Nighttime Journey

By Andreas Mamet
© 2007

During dreamtime I often go to Asia where I find myself immersed in experiences that are necessary for the evolution of my soul.

Last night, however, there was a journey that was unusual in my world of experience. I traveled to South America, to Chile. I journeyed into the world that is the domain of the Native Shaman, where the Spirits of Nature rule.

This is a world where nothing is as it appears to be, where everything is endowed with the Living Spirit and the slightest creature imbued with existential meaning.

A rock acquires a face and speaks to you. It will say something astoundingly relevant to your life. It is a world of magic and tremendous forces. It is also a world that is extremely regulated by unseen and hidden protocol. This protocol, if ignored and broken, will swiftly extract a price to pay from the uninformed transgressor

In this world, one MUST know where the path is. One MUST not step outside of it. This is not easy, because one does not see any path. Imagine going through the jungle and being told, “Stay on the path!” You can only do this if you can tune to that which is utterly invisible. Then, every tree, every bird and cloud becomes your road sign.

To move acceptably in this world requires a breaking down of every piece of knowledge acquired in the “civilized” world. The “educated” mind is useless. In fact, it is dangerous for one’s survival. Only one’s Soul knows how to maneuver properly and interact in harmony with the surrounding, tremendous forces. In this world, everything is Soul. The internal is externalized; the external is internalized. In other words: There is no separation.

In this world there are crimes that will be punished swiftly. The crimes are arrogance, the belief to know and understand when in fact we know and understand nothing.
Selfishness – the unwillingness to share and help in a world where everything is interlinked and united.

It is those and other crimes that will make us not see or heed the road signs around us.

In this world a wo/man of true power will hardly appear powerful. This stands in contrast to our “civilized” world, where we have people who are powerful in the way of money, fame and political position, but who are without genuine power in the Way of Spirit. They exist without True Power and Deep Insight – a danger unto themselves and the planet. They are like a baby playing with a loaded gun.

My entire night was spent in this shamanic world. Even if I had to get up to go to the bathroom, I slipped right back into it when lying down on the bed.

Many magical experiences transpired and upon waking in the morning, the flavor of the night remained.

How could I summarize an event like this?

- Rediscover your innocence.

- Know and understand that you know and understand not much at all.

- Be cautious! Things and people are not what they appear to be.

- Continuously ask yourself, “Who and what is before me?”

- Connect with your Soul. Listen to it.
