The Teachings

The teachings that we present are distilled from a combined 70 years of spiritual practices between Raylene and I. They include practices and specific formulas of calling Divine Presence into your body, Mantra Yoga and numerous healing techniques, including laying-on-of-hands in combination with the practice of calling the Divine.

While these represent important pillars of our teachings, we simultaneously emphasize the importance of bringing awareness to one’s emotions and thought processes, thus revealing and bringing clarity to the hidden programs inside ourselves that can determine and condition our behavior without us comprehending & tracking the roots of our thoughts and actions.

It is the combination of these aspects that cause the individual to experience a direct and immensely tangible empowerment that is life altering in ways that are hugely positive.

As one of our friends in southern France said: “Thank you for these techniques. They have changed my life in incredible ways. I am happier than I have been in a long time.”

It is because people in Japan and France have such a strong response to these teachings that we are going to return to these countries to continue and deepen the work.

Returning to Paris

We are returning to Paris in mid-October. If you wish to sponsor our work in your area (in the USA) until then, let us know.

The Nature of the Mind

By Andreas Mamet

Many times in my reflections I return to the same point: In the individual’s striving for contact with a Divine Reality, I see the simultaneous inability to look at the nature of one’s own mind. The mindfulness to do so simply is not active. To look at the functioning of one’s own mind, in my opinion, is of pivotal importance. I am convinced that if one were to merely practice observing one’s own mind, the Divine will reveal as a by-product.

If we were to focus on the nature of the mind, we would recognize over and over again the same programs that run through all the mind modalities.
1 “I” am right – they are wrong.
2 “I” know – they don’t.
3 “I” am afraid of what “I” don’t know.

If these underlying programs could be made conscious and thus transcended, this would constitute a revolution in the individual’s life, and consequently it would revolutionize life on this planet.

However, to shift the pointing finger away from the other to oneself, this in itself is a revolutionary move, as it is the move of a maturity that is willing to accept responsibility for one’s life in a much more substantial way.

As things are, our mind is given unintercepted permission to highjack as many identifications as possible. And as said before, the moment the mind highjacks religious/spiritual identifications, it merely gets worse.

Now, “I” know the will of god – and they don’t. Now “I” know yoga and meditation – and they don’t.

To develop an understanding of the programs that are at the base of the functioning of the mind is of awe-inspiring importance, because these programs are responsible for all wars and conflicts, be they between two people or between two nations or cultures. And once these programs are permeated with awareness and we free ourselves from their domination, then it becomes possible for the individual’s consciousness to fall into the heart and let actions arise from there.

To look at the nature of the mind is a solid path of awakening. It requires daily commitment and focus throughout the day, not just during selected times of meditation practice. It is surgery upon oneself, facing the shadow within. It requires looking at those aspects inside we would rather prefer not looking at. In simple words, it is about looking at our inner jerk. We all carry one inside ourselves.

And here is the irony: In our refusal to face our inner jerk, the inner jerk gains more strength and momentum. But if we take a deep breath and generate the full willingness to face the inner jerk – it will disappear and cease to highjack our lives.

The inner jerk is the ultimate terrorist and only by facing it will we overcome the conflicts inside and consequently the conflicts in this world.

It's Family Time

It's Family Time
By Andreas Mamet

The reality of life on this planet is one of fierce polarization. Generally, life takes place on the platform of the I-Thou experience. It is I (and my tribe) against “the other” (and his tribe).

Even though many thousands of years have passed since the days of cave dwelling and we live in a technologically sophisticated society, the degree of psychological and emotional evolution is just minimal. Technologically, we have evolved 20 notches since then, but our emotional and psychological development has barely moved one notch. This is because we have chosen to work on our technological development. Yet very few people elect to work upon themselves.

This being so, it should be of concern to all of us to recognize that the continuing collective immaturity now has been linked with a large-scale weaponry so advanced and multi-dimensional as to be capable of widespread global destruction.

However, bringing suffering through aggression is only one form of suffering that is inflicted by the immature cave dweller mentality still pervading this planet.

The other form of suffering inflicted is through the practice of indifference. It is when good people do nothing that evil receives its biggest boost. The crime of omission, the refusal to act in the direct face of human suffering, that is the biggest crime on this planet.

This cannot be remedied by shaking a person on the outside and shouting: “You should do something to alleviate suffering if you are in a position to do so. This is a planetary family.”

To recognize that everybody on this planet is family requires a direct, tangible expansion of an individual’s consciousness. The individual’s consciousness must expand until it experiences every living being to be inside, rather than outside, of itself.

This is what happens when a human being becomes a Buddha. All living beings, because of the enormous expansion of consciousness, now are inside. Now it is as if every human being is merely a limb, or an organ, belonging to one’s own body. Now one’s body has become the body of Universal Consciousness. And whatever happens to “the other” has become a personal experience that triggers concern for the well-being of “the other.” Because “the other” has ceased to exist. Only one’s Self exists. And every sentient being is experienced within the Self, an expression of the Self.

To recognize that we live in a planetary family, in my opinion, it is not necessary for every human being to activate this kind of Universal Consciousness (even though I think it is advisable to cultivate a practice to that end). Let us start in small ways.

Let us start by establishing a daily mindfulness that causes us to treat others in a way we would prefer others to treat us. Once we activate this mindfulness of the heart and put it into daily action, we have truly completed a giant leap for mankind.

To Thine Own Self Be True

To Thine Own Self Be True
By Andreas Mamet

This morning on my walk with Raylene the subject of To Thine Own Self Be True came up again. In the world that we live in, every day we are asked to not be true to our own self. However, I am marveling also at how many so-called spiritual contexts there are that equally invite us to forsake our own truth in favor of the bigger truth of a religion or a spiritual avenue.

Every day our soul whispers to us truth. Not absolute truth, but the truth about something in front of us, whether it feels right or not. These whispers are delivered softly, sometimes just feelings and it takes cultivating attention to bring those soul whispers to the forefront of our consciousness and then often it requires courage to act in accordance with our soul’s truth.

When we identify ourselves with being a Hindu, Buddhist, Christian or a disciple of a guru, we actually indicate that we have not substantially entered the core of our being. It declares that there has not been the awakening to the oceanic presence that exists beyond the fluctuation of the mind and its ceaseless drive to identify with something or other. Or even if the core experience has happened, we may not have cultivated the discernment that would intercept the mind from identifying with inner or outer positions.

When the experience of this oceanic silence takes place, this experience beyond all mind activity, then we experience a tremendous freedom and power.

But even in our daily lives we will begin to experience freedom and power by training ourselves to listen to what our soul is trying to convey to us. The soul is attempting to navigate our life into the direction of a greater fulfillment.

When something feels wrong, she is saying, don’t go there. Don’t support this. Don’t allow yourself to be entangled with this person or situation. At that point she suggest that we say NO, so that we can say YES to the Soul’s needs. Ignoring this will ultimately create situations that will cause us suffering. Therefore, in my opinion, it is part and parcel of becoming a whole human being to cultivate listening to the soul’s daily attempt at directing and protecting us. I am saying this as someone quite capable of not listening and suffering those consequences….

It is important to cultivate listening to our own truth and acting in accordance with it. We live in a world that contains its fair share of soul shrinkers, people that need us to be less so they can be more. Listening to and acting on our own truth will protect us from the soul shrinkers of this world and many other situations that we should stay away from.

Therefore, this is the message for the day: To Thine Own Self Be True.
